Featuring "ORAMOR" Tracey - Brisbane

Everyone who meets him loves him.
Love, Kirsty. 19/3/02
Tracey is now 5 months old, and is absolutely adorable. Everyone that meets him loves him and wants to take him home. He is a great companion, and has to be in then center of everything. He sits on the keyboard as I type, sits on the table when we eat, sits on the bench when we cook, runs outside with us when we hang out washing or do gardening.
He also loves to watch TV. He sits on the TV table and paws the screed as
different people move their head on the screen.
Burmese are very friendly and outgoing cats, and Tracey is no exception. Tracey will play with and cuddle anyone that comes in the house, whether they want him to or not!!
Burmese are a lovely breed of cat for people who love to love animals. They don't like being alone or ignored. Tracey is very playful and very
affectionate, as I imagine all of Sue's kittens are.
Please consider this when looking to buy a kitten, as they hate to be left alone for too long and need lots of cuddles.
Sincerely yours, Traceys' slave. 29/3/02

Hi Sue, After all the photos, and loving reports and good news, I am forced to write the saddest letter of my life. Tracey has been missing over two weeks.
I hoped her would be back overnight, then thought at the end of the weekend. Then I thought he would be locked in somewhere while people were away for a week. But each time I have been disappointed. Kasey was absolutely devastated for the first few days, but is okay now. She is even more spoilt than before, as I feel so guilty about Tracey, that I never let her out of my sight for more than a minute.  I am so sorry to have to give you this news, but am reaching the point now where I think he will not be back.    Sadly, Kirsty. 8/10/02

Sue,
Happiest few weeks of my life was when I had two beautiful Burmese babies in bed with us. I miss Tracey so much. I keep dreaming he is returned somehow, and then wake up to the reality that he is gone. I have decided that I want another cat.
I felt so lucky when I had two, and I believe that I deserve to have two cats (despite the guilt the past few weeks of losing one). I am so scared of losing another though, that I will wait until the cat enclosure is finished and we have a double door arrangement to get outside.
I cannot risk losing another Burmese.  I can't emphasize how sad I have been since Tracey has gone.  Kasey is developing a great personality, but as they are different pets, she will never quite replace Tracey. He would lay with me when I was sick. He waited on the pillow and looked at me until I woke up, but didn't wake me. He would lay in my arms in bed and fall asleep, so we would both wake up together. He was so precious to me.
I miss him so much.  Kirsty. 20/10/02

If people only knew the pain of losing a beloved pet.  By Kirsty Mckimmie

"Oramor" Tracey --Chocolate Male Burmese. Sadly missed by Kirsty & Damian

I waited for soooo long before I got Tracey. He was more than I could have ever hoped for, and everybody loved him. I still love him. I still sometimes think that when I get home he will be here.  I am not sure that you understand exactly what he means to me.
I suppose I have learnt that it is sometimes better to lock a cat up against their will - for their own good.  If only I had realised that then. I was home when he vanished. He had only been out an hour when I called him. I guess he was either already hurt, or not ready to come back. I still feel so guilty. Kirsty. 26/6/03

After the sad loss of Kirsty's beloved Burmese, "Oramor" Tracey, Kirsty is proudly taking "Oramor" Clawed, a lilac Burmese home to a life of being a pampered 'in-door-pet'. Nov,02

Hi Sue,
I lock my Burmese permanently inside - which I now realise that you have to at Mt Glorious due to the number of predators, and that you have to give them free run of the house to give them enough space.
Meanwhile Clawed gets more affectionate every day. He really is a mummies boy. He purrs incessantly. I think people who don't want this, should not have Burmese. Glad I have two cats. Company for each other during the day, and one each at night. Had a couple of neighbours come in to see the cats, and they said they were both gorgeous, and commented on how relaxed they both were - floppy".  Have a great week.  Love K. 27/1/03
