Dear Sue, Further to our conversation tonight, I have read through your ENTIRE website, including your 51 pages of testimonials which made me laugh, cry and sigh with pleasure at ALL the beautiful cats, their ecstatic owners, and their stories. I am speaking with my husband as I write this to you, and he is looking at your website. I am very pleased to say, both you and your cats have fully won our hearts, and if the offer still stands, we would "LOVE" to welcome your wee man into our family. I turn 40 this March 9th, and my husband was about to go through Dubai and look for diamond earrings. After looking at your website, he straight away said that if a kitten is what I want, then I can have one for my birthday. Our property size is 1 1/4 acres, on a very quiet street. However our cat would be confined to indoors, unless strictly supervised. I hope to have him trained to go out on a lead, so would appreciate your advice on how to train him to accept it, with the least amount of upset or stress. All of our animals have always been de-sexed, and this will be done as soon as required. They are always fleaed, wormed, vaccinated etc., regularly. Everyone in our family, (animals especially) are family members. I have had a huge hole in my heart since the loss of my Simon, and did not think I could find the right cat to fill it, but your website, testimonials and beautiful photos, have convinced me I just hadn't found the right one until now. I look forward to your reply with baited breath, and pray that someone else hasn't jumped in while I was making up my mind. Sincerely Karin and Noel Wilson. 8/1/08
Hi Sue, How is our little man Valentino going? We are counting down the days, and spoiling the other animals, just that little bit extra, so they won't be too put out when the new addition comes. Spaces are being made around the house, to accommodate his things. I bought him a nice little soft bed, (for when he's not on a shoulder, on a lap, in someone's arms, or in a humans bed), with a pure lambs wool rug to go in it, and at the same time, bought the lambs-wool grooming mitt to make his coat shiny. He has a silicone brush, which is brilliant, so they were tried out, much to her disgust, on Coco Chanel. She wasn't too happy about a forced grooming session, but looked wonderful afterwards, and the lambs wool mitt brings the coat up beautifully. Miss Coco Chanel thinks the new toys are the best, so she's having a ball playing with them and Valentino will arrive to his hammock/play-gym with lots of feathers and balls etc hanging off it, all chewed with claw holes in the hammock. I've been collecting things like large paper bags etc that I know cats love to hide and play in. My husband has never been much of an animal person, but has resigned himself over the years that he is fighting a losing battle against me and the kids as far as pets are concerned, but when we had Simon our other Siamese, he was as close to that cat, as I've seen him with any animal, and when Simon died, Noel made sure that between all of us, he had a funeral completely befitting his stature. Three times this week, AND tonight, he has asked me if I've had any more e-mails from you. I have a sneaky suspicion, that he could be just a tad excited HAHAHA!! Well I will go before this turns into a novel. Looking forward to some new photos when you have them. Kind Regards Karin Wilson. :-) 13/1/08
Hi Sue, Just a quick note to let you know that Valentino is fine, he's growing like a mushroom, and has won Coco Chanels heart. They are inseparable, and it's non-stop rough and tumble all the time. When they do stop for a rest, they sit in the same chair and wash each other before falling asleep. The enclosed picture is of our daughter Jade playing with him. He is fussed over and mothered to death, so he doesn't want for anything. I have hated being at work this week and away from him, but he seems to be fine just with the cat and the dog, and not too much of the house has been decimated. Hope this finds you well and happy. Kind Regards Karin 15/2/08
Morning Sue, Just letting you know, that Valentino is well and happy today, running around all over the place. He ate his own bodyweight in food yesterday, and looks set to do the same today. He slept in the hollow of my arm, draped around and over my neck, with his head on my chin, and even though I still wake during the night because I am conscious of his presence, it is so relaxing and nurturing, having him cuddled up to you, I just drift peacefully back to sleep. I am missing my husband terribly, and Valentino seems to lessen the loneliness at night. Thankyou so much for your handy advice, I'm positive the other animals will also benefit from your diet and health tips. They are getting lots of cuddles, pats, treats and chatter so they don't feel left out, or replaced by the new baby. Have a lovely day Sue and I will keep you informed on his progress. Kind Regards Karin Wilson, 10/2/08
