Hi Sue, and a Happy New Year to you and your family,
Simba and Honey are doing well and in the cold weather we are currently having, both cats climb under the duvet with us and stretch out in the warmth at night. Simba often gives a single ever-so-sweet meouw before settling down to sleep against me and starts to massage me - this almost always exceeds 5 minutes and it the end of which he is asleep with a damp patch on the sheet under his mouth where he has dribbled. He has SUCH a lovely character.
Honey, is a little sweetie, always wanting to play and has recently developed a habit of wanting to be with me when I am on the throne each morning!!! This is when she gets one-on-one time with her man!! - loud purring and lots of nudging. She meows when I stop stroking and scratching her and she insists I scratch her all over - she loves it. This all happens when the other cats are being fed, so I seem to be more important than food in the mornings!
