I just KNEW I'd get a naughty kittie, lol lol.  I always have had naughty kitties, and loved them to absolute bits. I find all the naughtiness very charming, though I have to admit - worrying at times like you spoke of - as in disappearing. And being found in the most ridiculous places.
I can barely wait, but I'm containing myself really well. I pretend I don't mind when he comes, but of course, I'm really excited and silly.
Bought him a divine "Cat Tree" with six platforms and two kitty houses to sleep or hide in, with lots of stuff to sharpen his claws on. Of course, unless I'm totally "kittie stupid", I KNOW he will be sharpening them on the furniture or the dogs. LOL LOL LOL.
It's always been that way before, don't see why this should be different. lol.

Big hugs for you Sue, and thank you for the rescue. Always, Leah xx 21/2/10

Oh Sue - My kitty's "play tree" came today - in this enormous box, which it took my lovely Postie AND Harry to get into the house.

We got it open and this kind of "Cat's Hilton" appeared. Oh, I had to laugh, it was in pieces, and Harry put it together basically in the middle of the lounge. Dear Lord - it is absolutely HUGE. I'm going to have to re-arrange my little lounge around it. I laughed till I cried, I was trying to get something nice for him - not change my whole life ! ! LOL LOL
I meant to take a picture for you, but Harry had it all undone, and put in the box again. He said he was just making sure it was all there, and would put it up properly and tightly nearer the time. Aren't men funny? It's given me a good day, and a few good laughs thinking of it. It's really lovely, actually - creamy sort of carpet covering it, then posts covered in Sisal rope separating the "floors" - with a two entrance little house up a ladder, two more platforms, separated by more Sisal posts, then another sort of "sitting box" at the very top, with a big strong rope hanging down to bat and play with, and a "mouse" hanging somewhere else - my mind is really boggled. Very elegant I must say - but Dear Lord, did it have to be so BIG? I can't stop chuckling about it. We'll find somewhere for it in here, move one thing this way, the other thing that way - and hey presto, the whole lounge arranged for a kittie.. LOL LOL LOL. The dogs looked very suspicious when it was all in bits all over the place . . . . . . yes, it's been a funny day. Sorry about this nonsense - I just had to share it with you.
Big hugs to everyone . . . always, Leah xx  22/2/10

Oh, oh, oh,
Wonderful - wonderful. Just got the photos of kitties, Sue - thank you so very much. This boy of mine is going to be a handful - and I just love it. Nothing like a naughty kitten to brighten the day, lighten the heart, and make one buy new furniture. lol.  Between the kitty and falling over his "Tree" we're going to have a whale of a time. They are a lovely litter Sue, look at the huge round eyes they all have.
There - I didn't get too excited this time - I wrote to YOU first, not forgetting you, in my eagerness to send them round the world. Thank you so much for these.
Big hugs all round. Always, Leah xxxxx  22/2/10

"Collect Kitten"

My dearest Sue - Now at last I can be totally honest with you. I have been so excited about this kitty that I sort of didn't dare tell you that I was, in case something went wrong with the whole thing, so I haven't been disinterested, just terrified that I wouldn't get him.
I saw your "Collect Kitten" in my inbox, and burst into tears. NOW he's real, NOW he's going to really be mine.
You have no idea how this cat will be looked after. I promise with all my heart, that he will have a wonderful home, full of love and laughter, hugs and games, and all that an adored cat could want.
I have a wonderful litter box for him, blue for a boy - it's big enough for ME to have a bath in, and has a sort of lip, so the litter doesn't go everywhere. We have that utterly ridiculous cat climbing thingy, which we still can't see where to put - I have a tiny house, and a HUGE kitty scratching post, houses, ledges and everything else you can think of. LOL LOL LOL I must have been mad, but I wanted him to have lots of fun, and places to go and peek out of. I have a toy box with toys and balls, and string things to chase, and huge pieces of ag. pipe to lie around for him to play in, and for us to fall over - and thousands of ornaments and piles of books for him to jump on and break and knock over ! ! ! You can see I've had kitties before.'
Thank you so much for the feeding and help chart -  I may have had a few kittens, but not such a young one for a long time now. Of course I shall send you photos of him - often probably, and I hope we can keep up our friendship, which I have valued for months now. I should hate not to keep in touch with you.
I SHALL BE THERE ON WEDNESDAY AT 10 AM WITH ALL MY BELLS AND WHISTLES AND EXCITEMENT. I'm all of a flutter ! ! ! ! !
With love and hugs to you Sue. Now I can say "See you soon" Yippeeeeeeeee.
Always, Leah xxxxx 3/3/10

I feel so sorry for the kitties, leaving everything they're used to, and going to a strange place with people they don't know. It must be awful for them just for a little while. I have always felt sorry for picking up a cat or puppy - and seeing them look bewildered for a short time - until it comes to them that they just might be onto a good thing here. LOL LOL. I know you love them all Sue, please don't worry about this one - he'll be healthy and happy and never without a friend to talk to.

Big hugs for you, dear heart. Always, Leah xxxxx  4/3/10
